I want to be a Paid Volunteer in any Develop country

Hi Friends The social, political, religious, and economic circumstances of Pakistan are getting worst Day-by-day. The politicians of our country are still engaged in the power struggle and luxuriate of government instead of providing guidance to the people; Religious parties of the country have failed to promote tolerance and peace amongst the different religious school of thoughts. Respect to humanity is slowly vanishing away. Hoarding has become a common practice. Unemployment has leaded the youth towards drug addiction and Gun culture. In this scenario some likeminded people gathered in District Abbott Abad and decided to plan some strategy for the betterment of the society. The basic idea behind this thought was that by using collective wisdom they should find the way to play a positive role in the development of the society. At that time they were not clear regarding their objectives but they were determined to take initiative and launch an effort to establish an institution. They feel that through establishing of such an institution they could launch a set of activities for next generation’s better future and to enable them to do something constructive to attain better place in the rapidly changing world. With this motive WAFAQ (Welfare Association For Advancement and Quality) was established in 2003 and registered. Wafaq is non-governmental organization, non-profitable, non-sectarian, non-political, charitable trust organization having an ambition to strengthen the community through various development projects by fostering self- reliance, self-sufficiency and self-sustained opportunities and available resources. We played a vital role when an earthquake badly hit Pakistan and Kashmir in October 2005. We have participated in Relief activities in Balakot and Azad Kashmir. In March 2006 four months after earthquake we established a Wafaq Children Home in Mansehra District. We know that Children are entitled to various rights. The Primary of these rights is the right to be properly brought up, raised, and education. Every law and religion in the world advocates a safe, secure, and healthy environment for every child where he can grow to be a civilized citizen and contribute to be an asset to the society. Among the children, Orphans are the most vulnerable of society who are targeted physically, psychologically. It is our first and foremost responsibility as a whole to provide them with adequate protection from such elements. The greatest contribution to the most disadvantaged (orphans and poor) of society is to provide them with love, care and the light of knowledge as well as worldly skills to make them self-sufficient. We will endeavour to provide the orphans with the love and care they would have received from their parents if they were alive. The board of directors of WAFAQ (Welfare Association of Advancement and Quality) has decided that the Children’s Home will never operate as an “Orphanage,” but rather as a “Home” to care for orphaned and vulnerable children. The Wafaq Children’s Home is a project of WAFAQ to look after orphaned children. It is located in the main city of Mansehra N.W.F.P Pakistan. Our " Children’s Home " opened its doors after a earhquake badly hit this area in October 2005 and welcomes now up to 52 children. Unfortunately, there are not enough orphanages to accommodate the increasing number of orphans in this region,due to the fact that the extended families who initially stepped forward to look after the orphaned children, are now finding it difficult to support these children. Families in this region, on average, have 6 to 8 members in a normal scenario, keeping in mind that parents require contstant care and medical provisions. There is one earning hand, many dependents, therefore the cost of living is way above the resourses. Ultimately this burdens the relatives, who then neglect and such children suffer.Looking at the prevailing needs of this region WAFAQ has decided to contribute in this cause and launch a project under the name of Wafaq Children’s Home for the orphans and underprivileged children. We at WAFAQ believe to provide a HOME to these Homless kids. The main aim of this home is to bring up these children, so that in their life ahead they may become good citizens and effective members of community.Now being a Director of WAFAQ CHILDREN HOME I want to participate in some other Humanitarian activities that’s way I want to volunteer my self for Six Months in any developed country so I can learn and after coming back in my community play a positive role for the betterment of my community.I have 5 years work experience in the field of development. And I feel like I can contribute more towards humanity than what I am doing now. Thank you
