Mission

The Global Forum on NGO Governance is an online forum that supports resource-sharing and idea exchange to strengthen the governance of nongovernmental organizations worldwide. The objectives of the Global Forum on Nonprofit Governance include:

For governance trainers and consultants:

• Provide a place to ask questions and share resources with others who work with NGO boards, regionally and globally.
• Provide a place to share and access NGO governance resources and tools that they can use with their constituencies.
• Provide a place for conducting collaborative writing projects to develop NGO governance resources with other colleagues, regionally and globally.

For NGO board and staff members:

• Provide a collection of NGO governance resources and tools about good governance practices and ways to strengthen NGO boards.
• Provide a listing of governance trainers, consultants, and organizations in regions throughout the world that can provide direct assistance with governance issues.
• Provide an online area for asking questions about NGO governance and board development.
